MIGUEL ANGEL
A dedicated soccer professional with a lifelong commitment to the sport, shaped by early international training under legendary
Coach Bora Milutinovic.
Coach Miguel was developed within the U.S. National Soccer Pool at the U17 level.
He advanced to NCAA Division I soccer, earning recognition in the national draft and signing his first professional contract with Spandauer SSV Berlin in Germany. Coach Miguel's career includes experience with Tennis Borussia Berlin and loans in Italy and Spain, culminating with a return to Hertha Berlin Sport Club. Although Coach Miguel did not make his professional debut at Hertha due to maturity challenges at the time, this pivotal experience provided invaluable lessons that have profoundly influenced his growth, resilience, and perspective as a coach and mentor.

Coach Miguel's vision for his academy was born from a journey rich with lessons, challenges, and growth. With a background in international business and linguistics, and shaped by diverse professional and cultural experiences, he recognized a critical need:
to offer young players the mentorship and guidance he once lacked. United F.C. With a distinguished track record in Spain’s top youth soccer academies, Coach Angel brings a wealth of experience and proven success to our program.
Since joining Getafe C.F., Coach Angel has led teams to numerous tournament victories and championships at both national and international levels.
Under his guidance, players have earned both collective and individual honors, with a standout achievement being a semifinal run in the prestigious LIGA DE LAS PROMESAS in 2021—where his team triumphed over elite clubs such as Barcelona, Villarreal, Mallorca, and Levante.
Coach Angel is known for developing players to their fullest potential, including excellent ball handling, intensity in the face of loss, and for their creative,
eye-catching and very competitive play.
Beyond his achievements on the field, Coach Angel is highly respected for developing the next generation of coaches and is a recognized professor of new technologies in soccer. With a pivotal coaching role at an NCAA Division II HBCU and a track record of back-to-back national championships in the USCAA/NAIA, Coach Carlos demonstrates the leadership, expertise, and commitment required at the highest levels of the sport.
Coach Carlos has participated in scouting camps to identify national team talent. He has also contributed as an assistant coach during the Sud Americana Juventus CONMEBOL in Peru and gained valuable experience coaching the USL Women’s and Academy levels, including serving as head coach at
Fort Lauderdale United Academy.

What age groups can join the academy?
Our academy welcomes players from ages 10 to 23, with programs specifically tailored for each development stage. We focus on technical , tactical, physical, and mental growth adapted to each age group.
What support is available for international students, especially regarding language and daily life?
International students receive full support, including Spanish language classes and mentorship to help them integrate smoothly. We also assist with daily logistics, cultural adaption, and provide staff who speak English to guide them in all aspects of life in Spain.
How does the academy support academic education alongside soccer training?
We collaborate with local and international schools, as well as online accredited programs, to ensure each student maintains their academic programs, to ensure each student maintains their academic progress. Flexible schedules allow players to balance studies and intensive training without compromising either area.
What are the accommodation options for players coming from abroad?
For international players, we provide safe, supervised residential housing which offers a safe and supportive environment close to training facilities. We also provide options for host family placements or private apartments, depending on age and family preference.
What is provided by age group?
We provide tailored options according professional development and placement. For young players ages 10-12, we offer summer programs where they can join professional club camps in Spain, combined with personalized development sessions focused on coordination, technical mastery, and positional IQ using a UEFA-level Spanish methodology. They also have the unique opportunity to train and compete alongside top La Liga players in international elite competitions.
For players aged 12-17, we provide a more intensive, demanding physical training regimen, including additional sessions and supervised gym work. These gym sessions are carefully managed to emphasize correct form, high repetitions with lower weight, and the development of explosive white muscle fibers.
For players who are already advanced in their development curriculum, we offer a pro formation and placement group, tailored to their speed of play and competitive readiness, for players up to both male and female athletes, ensuring equal opportunities for all.
